AS400/iSeries Programmer

We are currently seeking a highly enthusiastic individual for an entry level AS400/iSeries Programmer position located in Charlotte, NC.

POSITION SUMMARY:


The AS400 / iSeries Programmer is responsible for developing basic programs in RPG/ILE to meet business requirements and pursue timely resolutions for EDI and barcode scanning systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent is required
  • Familiar with basic manufacturing applications, basic accounting and financial systems
  • Ability to program in RPG/ILE and free format standards, CL and SQL programming languages
  • Ability to design screens and code subfiles, JAVA is a plus
  • Knowledge of AS400 system architecture
  • Ability to train and learn how to program with Gentran EDI translation/mapping software
  • Ability to learn and programmatically interface to the ERP, EDI and barcode scanning systems
  • Technical training as required in particular EDI and barcode design and creation
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Windows client operating systems
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work

National Accounts Manager

We are currently seeking a highly enthusiastic individual for our National Accounts Manager position. Ideal, candidate will be located in the Dallas, TX or Houston, TX metropolitan areas.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The National Accounts Manager is responsible for maintaining account support, drive new revenue and build relationships with large aftermarket distributors and key accounts. The National Accounts Manager follows a program selling approach to the larger corporate buying environment. Additional responsibilities include training, directing, and building a customer base while promoting product line and marketing programs. This position requires a high level of motivation, individual drive, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in the field. The amount of required business travel can be up to 50-75% in local metropolitan areas and additional travel throughout assigned territory.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree in Business and/or Marketing is required
  • Engineering or technical background is a plus
  • 10+ years of program selling experience at senior corporate level
  • Previous sales experience in the commercial vehicle industry and/or automotive industrial markets
  • Strong knowledge of financial business case analysis and business acumen
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Effective problem solving and decision making skills
