Southwest Regional Sales Manager

MGM Brakes, a division of Indian Head Industries, Inc., is the leading supplier of spring brake actuators for the commercial vehicle industry.  We are currently seeking a highly enthusiastic individual for a Southwest Regional Sales Manager position. Ideal candidate will be located in the Dallas, TX or Houston, TX metropolitan areas.

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The primary responsibility of the Southwest Regional Sales Manager is selling products and/or services to established aftermarket customers or by developing new prospects within assigned territory. Some of the responsibilities include training, directing, building and maintaining a customer base while promoting product line and marketing programs. The amount of required business travel can be up to 50-75% throughout assigned territory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree in Business and/or Marketing is preferred
  • Previous sales experience in the heavy-duty truck and commercial vehicle industry preferred
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Develop and maintain sales  materials and current product knowledge

National Accounts Manager


MGM Brakes, a division of Indian Head Industries, Inc., is the leading supplier of spring brake actuators for the commercial vehicle industry.  We are currently seeking a highly enthusiastic individual for our National Accounts Manager position. Ideal, candidate will be located in the Dallas, TX or Houston, TX metropolitan areas.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The National Accounts Manager is responsible for maintaining account support, drive new revenue and build relationships with large aftermarket distributors and key accounts. The National Accounts Manager follows a program selling approach to the larger corporate buying environment. Additional responsibilities include training, directing, and building a customer base while promoting product line and marketing programs. This position requires a high level of motivation, individual drive, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in the field. The amount of required business travel can be up to 50-75% in local metropolitan areas and additional travel throughout assigned territory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree in Business and/or Marketing is required
  • Engineering or technical background is a plus
  • 10+ years of program selling experience at senior corporate level
  • Previous sales experience in the commercial vehicle industry and/or automotive industrial markets
  • Strong knowledge of financial business case analysis and business acumen
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Effective problem solving and decision making skills
